Senior Education School was abolished in Indonesia in 1989,for Religious Teacher Vocational School (PGAN) changed into Islamic Senior High School (MAN) based on SK Menteri Agama RI No.64,1990,April,29,1990. MAN 4 Model Jakarta is the State Institute of Islamic Senior High School which changed its function from PGAN 28 Jakarta based on SK Menteri Agama RI No.E.1V/PP.006/Kep/17.A/1999, It was decided to be the one of MAN 4 Model in Jakarta of 38 MAN Model in Indonesia and also it was one of the best madrasah in indonesia and it stated that it was the best madrasah in jakarta. It had sks system like college which make the lesson so fast sometimes 1 semester could complete 1 year lesson.
